3/6 Deeeep top two vs Twin-Caracas rivershove
Twin and me have been lagbattling each other in big pots. I won a big pot from him earlier when he c/r me big on AsKc5s and pushed 2x pot on the turn. I called him with Ad7h he mucked K2hh. Also i won a PF allin with AK vs AQ, and he won one with AA vs my AKs. I am a few buyins up on him while playing on several tables.
Do I call his riverpush? thx - Marnix PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (9 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter BB ($609) UTG ($588) UTG+1 ($242) MP1 ($619.80) MP2 ($1817.05) MP3 ($189) CO ($150.50) Button ($1242.05) Hero ($1800.20) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, MP2 raises to $24, 3 folds, Hero raises to $124, 1 fold, MP2 calls $100. maybe i'm an idiot, but i don't see why you're betting this river if you're planning on folding to a raise. it seems like you allow yourself to be bluff-raised off your hand. why'd you check the turn? was it to checkraise a seemingly floatish bet?

Re: 3/6 Deeeep top two vs Twin-Caracas rivershove
he prob thinks it's a split pot, a rule a lot of people use is when you think it's a split pot, reraise and try to get the other guy off his hand.

Re: 3/6 Deeeep top two vs Twin-Caracas rivershove
Twin was the nicest person that I met in my trips to vegas. He is a geniune stand up guy who I would actually consider a friend in the poker scene. Most of the pro poker players I met were self centered money driven egomaniacs. When twin is playing his best poker he is quite good, but unfortunatly he enjoys gambling and will make -EV decisions because he is in the mood to gamble, as is evident from the second posters link. Twin has a larger bankroll than 99% on this forum, but realized that he wasn't playing his best and I suspect this is why he is playing 3/6 to rebuild his confidence.
As to the orginal hand I would fold to his river shove and I like the turn check. |
