fold bb to steals (especially heads up) too often, otherwise it all looks fine

you always say this, but it depends a lot on the limits. obviously at 0.5/1 or 1/2 you're going to check a lot more than at 5/10 simply because more pots are contested multiway at the lower limits.

I say it because it's almost a universal comminality in people that are losing. Maybe in the cause and effect is the other way around, but I don't think so. I'm a big fan of picking up those small pots when ever you can. I feel like it makes up at least .5 BB/100 in win rate, and part of doing that is continuation betting a lot of flops. Of course, at lower limits there are more muiltiway pots, but I don't think you should be checking twice as many flops at 1/2 as at 5/10.

I don't think checking after PFRing too much is a mistake, and if it is one, it's not a big one. Elindauer has written about this a bunch. Here's one post, for example.

makes me wonder if anyone else only checks about 5% after a preflop raise. i've never looked too far into it but that seems a bit out of line.

PS. extra strategy point: the reason to single out these short-handed, HU and 3-way pots is that these are small pot sizes, which involve significant strategy changes from your normal bet-bet-bet, win-at-all-costs big pot game.

I'm at about 8% but I play lower limits than you so that's probably a result of more multi-way pots after a PFR.
