Frozen White Castle vs Real White Castle

A good portion of my diet consists of microwavable frozen White Castle burgers that I buy at the grocery store. I've never actually been to a real White Castle, the closest one to me is about an hour and a half away. Should I be planning on making this road trip at some point to get real White Castle, to see what I've been missing?

Other related question...Is White Castle the same, better, or worse than Krystal?

the frozen WC are a close approximation of th real thing. i do find the frozen ones a bit dry though.

When you microwave them, put a wet paper towel over the top.

imo though, no, a real white castle is way better than a regular, and a double whities cant even compare.

I actually think the frozen ones are way better... eat at a real White Castle at your own risk.

Definitely not worth driving 1.5 hours for unless you like filthy hovels.

Frozens are decent, but you should make the trip, and add a Chicken with Cheese and Bacon, and some mozzarella sticks.

The frozen ones get dry around the edges if you microwave them too long or don't wrap them in a paper towel.

Other than that, I think they're pretty close. A lot of food gets soggy in the microwave, but white castle burgers are always soggy, so little changes.

Sometimes the frozen ones (only the hamburgers, not the cheeseburgers) get a weird taste to them. That could just be from sitting in my freezer, though.

you mean White Castle is not even close to Krystal, right? i've only been to Krystal twice when I've been down south - waaaaaaaaay better than the White Castle down the street from me. WC burgers taste like they were poached in someones armpits.
