I don't like it b/c of stack sizes and b/c you have position, you're never happy when he 4-bets you but you're probably committed, why not just take a flop and go from there

4 bets in right following the analogy from limit holdem.

With your stack size, when you raise, you are essentially playing for all your chips. In fact, you probably should push if you are not going to flat call.

I think you have to call the push due to pot odds.

Sunrise,

FWIW, I was the villian in this hand and thought your line was pretty terrible.

I was opening alot, but that doesnt mean I am 3 betting light.

OP is getting 2.1-1 to call the push, so he may have a pot odds call.

Sklansky has a section in TPFAP about not making a raise when a reraise puts you in a difficult position. He mentions TT and AQs as hands it is sometimes better to flat call with for that reason.

OP could also make a real small reraise representing a big pair and fold to a push. He could also just reraise allin. I think either approach is better than what he did.

However, flat calling with position and chances to make a set seems best.

even on seven handed though?
what about jacks?

and does bubble play not have anything to do with it?
clearly thinking players are going to be more aggressive on the bubble.

also i have a question for u villain
u raised once in LP, and i called and i lead out on Q high flop and u pushed

what did u have there?
flush draw, or KQ?
i put u on KQ
i would like to know
