A couple hands...
A couple hands from a live tournament Saturday...
Hand 1: 100/200 blinds... I have 1500 and am third to act at a nine handed table... Average stack is 5000 or so. I look down and see 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] What's the plan? If you're not pushing, what's your pushing range here? the other hand just a little less than an hour later... Blinds still 100/200 Average stack is 7500-8000, we aren't that close to the money yet. LAG in the hijack raises to 350. He has 8 or 9 thousand (covers me). Another LAG on the button reraises to a thousand straight. He has me covered by a bunch. Tight player in the SB pushes for between 4 and 5K. I have 6000. I have A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the BB. Push? |

Re: A couple hands...
1 push
2 probably push too... LAG's have a variety of hands, SB has a real hand, but it's TT+, AQs+ range and the dead money in the pot make the push worth it IMO. |

Re: A couple hands...
Both are pushes IMO (2nd one due to the overlay)

Re: A couple hands...
1 - easy push
2. i think is a fold - with the series of betting some of your aces/kings have almost certainly been compromised so youre most likely a 33% dog - i just dont see the TAG reraising/pot committing with anything but a premium QQ+ - could be ak but more then often i think youre way behind here - i fold here without much delay |
