Default Exporting and Importing Vehicles

I've run into a few contacts over the last month that seem to make a lot of green exporting american made vehicles to europe. Another alternative I've heard is importing european and asian vehicles here. One of these contacts think in a month he can get my '05 Cadillac Escalade sold over in England for $30,000 more than I can get here in North America.

The reason it seems for the export is apparently they don't have a lot of the same dealerships over there. For example Chevrolet goes by a different name and they have different modeled cars. So by sending a Chevy Suburban to ie. London, England to get sold privately you can get much more $$$ than you could over here because either A)The wait list may be too long B) They may not even have access to that particular model at a dealership.

Who knows much about this seemingly non advertised industry of importing and exporting vehicles. A viable business? Pro's? Con's? What's an average income for some of these exporters?
