So.. with the overpair and straight draw, a raise on the flop would've been good. If 3 bet, call and think about KK, AA, AK or possibly JJ if UTG is looser PF. Turn is a safe card. If not 3 bet on the flop, raise/bet turn again. It's also likely UTG would've checked to you if he had just called your raise. River is a scare card and it looks like MP hit his flush draw, but there's also a strong possibility he also just completed a straight draw. Wih pot odds what they are, you have to call this. Is that right?

Can you explain why? Isn't the pot to big, I can't protect my hand. Or do I have enough equity?

you could have the best hand.
if not, you have a lot of outs.

I see now.

I was just not sure my hand is best all that often when a tag caps preflop then bets out on a flop like this into many players.

It's not about protecting your hand. It's about charging people to draw out on you.

a guy with a 17% pfr full ring makes me want to put in more action on the flop, but otherwise you played the hand fine.

for those advocating a flop raise, look at the board and give me a range for utg given the preflop action. if you think he caps AK/AQ and leads into this field on this flop, then raise the flop. if he would cap AJ and lead then fine, raise.
