Default 88 overpair on flop facing all-in

I put my opp on a range that included some underpairs, but also 99-JJ and the occasional 4, good fold?

I'm not playing on my own computer so no PT stats. Him being short, and his play on the table gives me the impression he doesn't really try to read other hands, but goes on the quality of his own hand.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero ($98)
CO ($12.20)
Button ($199.30)
SB ($99)
BB ($42.95)
UTG ($186.45)
UTG+1 ($141.25)
MP1 ($103.70)
MP2 ($102.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls $4, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $3.

Flop: ($12.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $11</font>, Button folds, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $38.95</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $62.45

Uh has he been shorstack [censored] aggro'ing? If so this is an easy call.

Otherwise fold.

I wouldnt bet so much on the flop since its pretty dry. Dont know what would do this that you beat but he is short and I see alot of 22,55,66,77 that d this as well as overs and 99,TT,JJ.

I doubt we see a 4 here - probably trying to push you of overs so I call
