Default Riverfold with TPTK against TAG

Villain is 27/19/2.9 over 400 hands. He just joined the table and we haven't been up against each other before now.

Couldn't he have KQ or JTs? You don't really know how he plays. Just his stats. I don't think you can fold getting 11-1.

Well, on the other hand, I've found that player extremely rarely raise the river as a bluff. But we might have to call for peace of mind.

Why would someone raise with JT, it'd be stupid, why wait for the river to raise KQ, it'd be stupid...

People are stupid. Fold this river and you're stupid too.

I would probably call this river against any opponent. Against this specific opponent a fold is a big mistake as his AF suggests there has to be something wrong with him. He almost certainly raises JT here.

Given the sort of player I'd expect a 27/19/2.9 to be this fold isn't as bad as people are going to tell you it is. He has to what, have KQ and wait until you've value bet the river to pop it, or have JT and not notice that the board's paired? Ok.

"People are stupid" and "people do goofy things" is a pretty weak, generalized mentality that doesn't really have any bearing on any individual hand. "Is my opponent stupid?", "does my opponent do goofy things" would be much better questions to ask. There are certain opponents on certain sites whom I have lots of experience propping against where I could fold this all day long. For example: if I check-raise you on the end here and you hold AK, your expectation is absolute 0.
