1/2 2 QQ Hands

Re: 1/2 2 QQ Hands
First hand is disgusting. You're only behind A/K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], there's almost no way those two hands dont bet, and its worth 2:1 to look it up. I like it all till the river.
Second hand is an easy flop raise. You'll rarely like a card on the turn if you call. |

Re: 1/2 2 QQ Hands
River on the first hand is an excellent situation for a blocking bet (also for value of course). If he comes over the top, you are beat (unless he is a maniac, in which case check/call the river).
2nd hand: Yeah. Easy Flop raise. |

Hand 1, why are u not calling that river with Q high flush?? [/ QUOTE ]Well this is what was going through my head at the time: "Maybe he checked the turn because he felt his flush was too obvious, and no way he bets 144 on a 4flush board knowing I have big cards without he himself having the A/K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]". I mean this is 200nl, and he is a donk. Somehow I have it in my head that people hardly ever bluff at 4flush boards. |

He has no reason to fear Ac or Kc here even if he's a donk. I mean, if he for whatever reason called the flop with 72o (without a club), isn't this a perfect spot for him to bet? You've shown nothing but weakness. |

Re: 1/2 2 QQ Hands
Call the river in hand 1. 36/19 raises a lot of Axs hands preflop so that leaves mostly the bare Kx hand that you're behind. A flush will usually bet this turn unless it's the nut flush and this seems unlikely. So you're only reasonably behind KT here. hands like 87, QJ with no flush could easily fire here given your weak line. I think we're ahead atleast 50% of the time here.

Re: 1/2 2 QQ Hands
I think you are usually right about the 4 flush board thing you mentioned at NL 200. I kind of like a bet of $80 on the river in hand 1. He'll never raise, in my opinion, without the Ace of clubs because NL 200 players aren't that courageous. You gave him the green light to represent those two clubs that beat you.

Re: 1/2 2 QQ Hands
I actually would generally fold hand 1, if I know he is at least somewhat solid, or even against unknowns. I dont think people bluff potsized here like ever, hes probably got the Ac or even a boat.
