Default Probability of a Pocket Pair in Pineapple

Alliteration aside, what's the probability that you have a pocket pair in Pineapple?

I quickly did some math the other night and I think it's about .17. Can you check my work?

For those of you who don't know, Pineapple is a Hold 'em variation where you are dealt 3 cards. After flop-betting, you must discard 1 and play the rest of the hand with your remaining 2 cards.

Correct. There are 13*6 = 78 pairs, times 48 possible ways to get the last card that don't make a set, plus 13*4 = 52 sets.

(78*48 + 52) / C(52,3) =~ 17.2%.
