Default OT: Professional Gaming

Im really bored so I decided to start an OT thread! Is anyone here a professional video game player? Any game, computer or consol. I personally played warcraft3 for 2 years and played lots of tournaments and traveled. My handle before i left was rS.Whipser. I manage to net a whopping 1k from my 2 years of work (+ random shirts / mousepands and computer junk)

I would really like to know any fellow video game enthusiasts, not nerds, as I call them. Please include game, handle, and experiences.

i had the opportunity to play halo2 professionally but pursued poker instead.

SC:BW i beat a few pro's on a user-created map that tested micro-management skills, other than that i was pretty bad at the game.

I made thousands running an arcade. $.25 per pop adds up when hundreds of folks are playing Pac-Man, Asteroids, DonkeyKong, pin-ball and foosball on a daily basis.

Took a few hundo here and there from FoosFoolios who were sadly mistaken in their assessment of my hand/eye coordination.

Does that count?

I made a semi-living basically being a dealer of Magic:the Gathering cards.

Poker however, has far more money in it.

I played Tetris professionally for three years. After a nasty down swing, I switched to NLHE STTs in hopes of reducing variance

What was your tag?

I live by some old h1 pros and turned down some sponsorships for h2 to also focus on poker.
