Default Turning a good hand into a bluff

Villian is 17/3, which is a rare as rocking horse [censored] for this game. Flop check was a multitabling mistake. I'd normally lead.

I would lead the flop, but if I misclicked I would check-raise.

Looks OK to me. If you get called here, better rock it up for a while.

I dont like calling a bet from a solid player with top two on a relatively draw free board.

Does anyone else think that check/calling the flop and then check/folding the turn is too weak? It seems like if he has middle or top set he'll fire again on the turn, but if top two are good he'll be intimidated by your call on the flop on that board and give up and check behind you on the turn, therefore you lose the minimum if you're beat and can probably even get paid a small bet on the river if a blank comes off and you're still good.

I'm not so sure about folding the turn here. These games aren't typically aggressive but they do get aggressive against checkcalls/calls expecting to be up against draws. Not sure if i can cancel A3 out of his range here, def not AQ.

Results are i pussied out on the river bet and just checked it. He checked behind w/ AQ. I think checking the river is a pretty big mistake here.

I'd probably fold the flop after failing to lead out if I don't know much about the CO. If you raise it's going to cost you $175 to win $90 here. Not really worth it. If I do call, I'll probably lead out on the turn (maybe 2/3 pot) to find out where I'm at. As played, I would fold the turn. If not, I check the river.
