Default qq pf against big lag

5 handed, FT NL 100, effective stacks 100.

Villain is a 60/30 lag who has been running the table over

Short history that might be relevant: 2 hands ago, I raise a raggy flop after villain donks full pot into my pfr. The next hand, I raise AJo and he reraises OTB. I fold.

The very next hand, I get QQ and raise UTG to 3.5. Villain acts next and reraises to 12.5. My play? I'd rather take the pot down here, since he's going to pot just about any flop if I call, and I'm not thrilled if I see an A/K on the flop.

Is there much of a difference between the two plays? If I do reraise here, are you folding to a push? A reraise would be for about 40ish% of my stack.

Given his stats and aggression, I think you 3-bet here and call a push. Yes he might have AA or KK, but I think he's got a sufficiently wide raising range that you're ahead with QQ more often than not.

That being said, it's not the most fun situation to be in. But I don't think you're getting away from AA or KK here, and if he turns one of those over you just reload, shake it off and move on.

Just my two cents.

hell no.

Several options, I often call with intention of cr all in on 90% of flops. I'll also call down on many dangerous looking flops, depending on how capable I think he is of bluffing multiple streets.

If I repop it, I'm pretty much not folding any flops if he cold calls.

Could just push and represent ak, 99-tt, and hope for a bad call if you feel uncomfortable taking a flop oop vs him.

You want him to play this hand with you. He will probably not call off his stack with a9 pf but it sounds like he will bluff so let him take the lead. You may lose everynow and then but he will give u more of his chips when u just flat call. That being said if u feel he will call a pf push do it.

From what everyone has said, it seems that repopping now and going for a crai on the flop are both good options. I had a feeling it didn't matter much either way, but I wanted to make sure.

In the actual hand I repopped to 40, he pushed, I instacalled and he showed AA. The flop was 853 so I wasn't getting away regardless.
