Hand 1: I borrowed a page from TWP's post the other day wrt 4-betting light.

Hand 3: This one really had me stumped on the river. Is he block-betting, or betting into me with a flush/straight? Opponent is solid from what I've seen so far. Can I raise this river?

1 and 2 are fine, 3 is close... But, I say you can find a small value raise there.

..at the time, I was looking at either a weirdly played flush (small?), a set that was slowplayed on the flop and then decided to wait to fill up once the flush got there, or a straight (35s). I didn't think he'd have anything but one of those hands. Of those, I'm behind most, and I'm not sure how much value I can get out of a smaller set, if there is one.

1) gross
2) pretty standard vs some opponents
3) I bet more on flop and turn and raise the river as much as i think he'll call

I just don't see worse set paying off if we raise.

1) Ballsy - hope you had a good read.
2) Do it quite often.
3) May be blocking bet, but not much else is paying you off here that I can see, other then slowplayed set of course.
