Nope, but I made about $1000 selling seats after they sold out. LOL

My father-in-law won a satellite and has been "practicing" a lot recently. I don't expect him to cash unless he gets fairly lucky. Guess we'll see.

Did you play 5-150 yesterday with a very annoying guy who pushed all-in preflop for $85 with AKo against two limpers?

The entire room will be used for the tourney starting at 9am. Stay away until the afternoon if you want to play cash games.

Edit to say: On Saturday.

Nope, got there about 6pm, made one pass of the high stakes tables and sold my seats and went home and played some 3/6 online.

It's still going and it's retarded. They only played 4 hours yesterday (down to 100). They kicked on huge antes early today and it was an all-in fest. When I left at 4:15 pm they were down to 13. 40-31 paid $650, 20-11 pays only $1500! And first is $100k? Ridiculous.

I wondered if they would end up spliting into two days.

The structure (both blinds and payout) sounds pertty standard for CA MTT's. Frankly I like it. The stiff ante forces a lot of mistakes from weak players and allows for the better player to stack up nicely. And you will never hear me bitch about the majority of the prize pool going to the FT.

The majority of the prize pool went to the last two players not the final table. No matter how well you play, it's difficult (and a great deal of work) to get to the final 20 let alone final two.
