Extra Chips
In his blog, Richard Brodie (Quite Lion) points out that if the reported chip counts are correct (somewhat problematical) there is somewhere near a half a million in extra chips in the tournament. He also calculates the maximum that would be added in the various "color ups" to show it would not explain the problem.
The reported chip counts this morning total 90,140,000 which is almost 2,400,000 more than you would expect. Could players have slipped that many extra chips into play? I guess if it were widespread it would only be about $300 per player. But if it was limited to a few, it could make a significant difference. I have very little live tournament experience so really do not know if this is even possible. |

Re: Extra Chips
Are there still 25k chips on the table? I see two who have x5,000 (Friberg and Butler). I'll go with the someone's not counting chips right angle (yet again)for the fact they're over 2m off.

Re: Extra Chips
I was just about to post on the same topic.
Are there 241 more entrants than reported? Let the conspiracy stories fly...where are Scully and Mulder when we need them? |
