Default Late in game $11r on stars, was this a bad fold

I have heard a lot of people say try and accumulate chips at this stage of turny. I was top 9 in chips at this stage and these two shortys in EP push. Should I have called this. I felt one of the two had to have Ak. Any thoughts. They turned over 99 and 10 10. I'm not trying to be resuts oriented, I don't care i would of won the hand. Just want to know if i should be calling here.

I fold unless they've been playing really crazy. It's very unlikely you have both dominated and if you have one dominated and flipping w/ another it's still not a very good spot.

Plus half the table still has to act and they sometimes wake up w/ aa/kk.

Steal blinds, play small pots with your stack, unless you have something huge. AQ isn't huge against two all-ins, but its close.

FWIW I shove AK here.

You are getting a little over 2:1 on a call.

Giving villan's these ranges:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 24.1596 % 22.15% 02.01% { AsQc }
Hand 2: 28.9894 % 27.31% 01.68% { 22+, ATs+, KJs+, AJo+, KQo }
Hand 3: 46.8510 % 44.72% 02.13% { 99+, AQs+, AKo }

Therefore with these ranges, you need to have a little more than 3:1 pot odds to call.

I think a good calling range is QQ+, AKs

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 32.9847 % 28.66% 04.32% { QQ+, AKs }
Hand 2: 27.9050 % 27.50% 00.40% { 22+, ATs+, KJs+, AJo+, KQo }
Hand 3: 39.1103 % 34.69% 04.42% { 99+, AQs+, AKo }

Even with this range, a call is close. You need a few decimals more to make this call correct with the odds.

Given your position, AQ is a fold. AK is borderline (suited helps), and I'm def. calling with QQ+.

I think your ranges are too tight illini. That being said, I think I fold this. Though I would probably call this in the BB with no one left to act and the BB in.

This is a terrible fold and illini your ranges are ridiculously tight, did you not see that both stacks have less than 8 BB?

edit: for [censored]'s sake OP don't post results

MasterE we have played some and I noticed that you are waaaay to tight and yes, I did take as full advantage of it as my current skill level allowed.

Both of them are short stacked and you get paid good so this is a must call.

I'd call this really really quickly. Why are people advocating a fold?

Because AQ is a [censored] hand with a push and overpush in front of you. Not to mention that we still have some big stacks behind us and a very healthy stack ourselves. I fold this.

Aq is a fine hand when mr short stack comes in against mr short stack. And what are the odds someone behind will act, especially since we have a real healthy stack. I'd hate to have AK behind hero if he pushed his chips in the middle here, and would probably toss it unless I knew that he knew that those villains might push some debatable hands.

You must tell the difference between when mr 5 bb battles mr 6 bbs and when mr 21 bbs come over the top of mr 17 bbs.

What surprises me though is, that I wrote a simular thread about a weak ago, where stacks where bigger but instead there was an sb coming over the top of the ultra agressive button, and in that thread people advocated a fold with AQ.
