2+2ers are good bets!
After debating with one of my friends, I told him that I could pick a team of 30 poker players that would win more money in the ME than he could. Moreover, he could pick his team first (providing I got Raymer...the only 2p2er that he would know), and he would barely recognize a name on my list. I picked almost exclusively internet players, and my team won by a large margin.
A quick rundown of the team. 1). Greg Raymer 2). Matt "jacksup" Matros 3). Mike "anakinso" Goodman 4). Eric "rizen" Lynch 5). Darrel "gigabet" Dicken 6). Carl "colson10" Olson 7). Steve "stevejpa" Paul-Ambrose 8). Shane "shaniac" Schleger 9). Peter "nordberg" feldman 10). Dr. Bill Chen 11). Cliff "johny bax" Josephy 12). Chris Bell 13). Jordan "imsolucky0" Morgan 14). David Singer 15). Eric "sheets" Haber 16). Alan Goehring 17). Prahlad "" Friedman 18). Mark Seif 19). Patrik Antonius 20). Fabrice Soulier 21). Nath "nath" Pizzolatto 22). Alex "yahtzem" Jacob 23). Mike Matusow 24). Victor Ramdin 25). Joe Hachem 26). Jason "strassa" Strasser 27). Blair Rodman 28). Carlos Mortensen 29). Nick "thetakeover" Schulman 30). Dustin "Neverwin" Woolf and if i had known some of your other names, I wouldve put yall on too. 17 out of 30 are 2+2 members (that I know of). Thats how 2+2 rolls! |

That's awesome. Can we see the list of players that your friend picked?

Re: 2+2ers are good bets!
You are in good shape but he does have Alan Cunningham so you aren't a lock to win it yet.

Re: 2+2ers are good bets!
Most of the reason why you are currently winning is because you have Bill Chen on there, who isn't 2+2 (well, he has some posts but not really)

Re: 2+2ers are good bets!
the bet was done on a point basis, where finishing first would net 873 points, and finishing last ITM would net 1 point. Even though he has cunningham, even if prahlad and rizen finished 27, 26, and cunningham won, I would still win.
And this competition was for the ME only. I tried to pick as many 2+2er's as I could, including the pros. Therefore I picked goehring, bill chen, blair rodman, over the lisandros (almost picked) of the world. Also, apologies to a few of the other 2p2ers that I would have picked, had I known their names. |
