I very, very seldom play at PP anymore. I was going to uninstall it from my comp and close out the account.
I had $191 left in this account (not a significant amount to my bankroll but not pennies to me either). I decided to play PPBJ (I know, I know...). I have played it before for $1 bets during breaks of tournaments. I did tilt play it once or twice, but I said [censored] it because I don't really care if I lose the $200 or not. I started off betting $1 and it graduated to $3 and $5 and $25 and $50 and eventually I am betting $200 a damn hand. I can't lose. I get up to near $3000. But then I drop down under $2000. I am in mad tilt now. There is no stopping me until I am run out of gas. Then I get up to almost four grand. I am rolling... mad rush.... Dealt 9/9 versus dealer's 6... split the $200 bet... dealt 9/9 and 9/2 (I COULDN'T MAKE THIS [censored] UP IF I TRIED)... I split again and double--- 9/2/7 and 9/10 and 9/10.... I have $800 on this hand... you know what happens next... son of a bitch flips over a 4 and hits a 10... blah blah blah... After that I piss away $3000 playing goddamn PPBJ on mad monkey tilt in like 8 minutes... I just wanted to play about 50 hands at $1-$5 bets. I have a gambling program. I will never play at Party again and have uninstalled their [censored] from my comp. The whole time I knew I might lose the $190 but jesus I never thought I get up over three grand with it before giving it all back. :sigh: |

Fairly standard ... PPBJ lulls another into a false sense of accomplish and success and then moves in for the kill.

In that case some 2+2ers who are not gambling addicts should take $200, turn it into $3K and quit.
I have thought about this more and more. There is no way I was quitting until I was broke (well not me broke but the account broke) or reached some ridiculous amount like $10K where betting the max $200 was not even fun anymore. Sad. |

This was barely a better story then "I bet $1 191 times and lost each bet"
