Default money taken from party poker account

I signed onto party poker today and discovered that someone had transferred a significant amount of money to himself from my account. It's under investigation right now. I'm sure this has happened to others before and I would appreciate if anyone can tell me how it turned out. Thank you.

Party sends an email when there is a transfer, you would have had a better chance if you caught it then.

Well I was playing the 2k added tourney at midnight on party last night until like 3:15 or so. I went to bed, got up at 12 and discovered it then. They contacted the guy and he made up some lie like we had some type of arrangement that we discussed. I better get this money back

Has this ever happened at a site besides Party? I never heard of a case on 2+2 yet.

He's a moron. They actually successfully contacted him and he claims that we had some type of agreement for me to transfer money to him. I talked to the investigation department today and they seem to agree that this idiot is full of sh%t. They said that tomorrow I can expect to see all the money that was taken from me and my account unlocked. I will keep everyone posted since I'm sure that this is rather scary news for everyone who plays online poker

Are you sure you didn't lose all of this money from entering a big buyin tournament that froze and got cancelled?
