Default Did I push this too hard

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $19.50
UTG+1: $49.20
CO: $61.40
Button: $112.80
Hero: $43.75
BB: $58.90

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
3 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises to $1</font>, Hero calls, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $4</font>, Button calls, Hero calls.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($12, 3 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">BB bets $7</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Button raises to $14</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $39.75</font>, 2 folds.
Uncalled bets: $25.75 returned to Hero.

Results:
Final pot: $47

My reasoning for pushing at this point was that there was some pre-flop and post-flop agrression being shown. I wanted to play the rest of this pot HU rather than against 2 opponents. I would have thought that one of them would have come along. BTW, BB later told me he folded AK - good fold by hime.

Should I have played this a little slower? Or does my reasoning seem correct?
