Red doesn’t play here
Saturday afternoon sitting at a Foxwoods 4-8 game, young man throws out $5 chip to call a single $4 bet. Dealer refuses to take the red chip, saying “Red doesn’t play on this table”. Three or so players chime in to say just change it to 2 yellows and a white. Dealer refuses and yells for floor. Floor comes over and explains to dealer to just cut the red up and put in his rack. This place never ceases to amaze me.

Re: Red doesn’t play here
The dealers and people are miserable at that place. I would rather go to AC and sit in beach traffic than play at foxwoods.

Re: Red doesn’t play here
This is the craziest thing I've ever heard... Someone needs to explain to Tom that you need to be good to your customers....

Re: Red doesn’t play here
LOL, why doesn't this surprise me? It wasn't Vic by chance was it?
Here's hoping the casino comes to West Warwick. But until then I continue to go over the river into the woods. Peace, Mygtar |

Re: Red doesn’t play here
Not sure the dealers name, very tall older gentlemen of eastern descent. At the time I was pre-occupied watching the table next to me as a gentleman is told he can’t play as he has multiple open sores on his forearms and he is oozing puss and blood on the table and cards. The table is eventually broke and the EMTs come and completely bandage the gentlemen’s forearms. Guess the funniest part was the debate over whether to continue to use the same cards or remove them from play.

Dealer mumbles something in Cambodian [/ QUOTE ] You know I forgot that part of the post, and did happen almost exactly like that but he might of been speaking Laos. |

Re: Red doesn’t play here
That's ridiculous. He probably was confused by the fact that you can't use yellows in anything except the low-limit flop games.
If they'd just play $4/8 in white (red allowed but discouraged) things would be so much better. |
