Default Extracting Value w/ Trip Kings

I'm trying to see how others would play this hand on the flop to extract max value. Unfortunately, I have no reads on SB as he is brand new to the table.

raise cause you want a flush draw to pay up as much as possible here.

Its HU so there is no need to call and keep people in. Time to put the hammer down and 3-bet

You can 3-bet right away, or you can let him try to bully you off a hand and wait for the river to raise. Or sometimes the turn, which is good when he's on a flush draw and gives up when it misses on the river.

With no read, I'd just 3-bet now.

Yeah you've gotta put him on a flush draw (A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]?), a pocket pair of some sort perhaps, or overcards (thinking you missed the flop).

Regardless, I'm pretty much 3-betting hard. I typically favor the straightforward method w/ no good reads. If we knew the player better we might be able to squeeze out a couple more bets. Anyway, well played so far I think.

Since you have position I would just call. A club could kill your action on the turn, but probably not. I would like to raise a big street against this guy.

I also could see raising the flop or waiting to raise the turn. I think your ahead hear a vast majority of the time and I also think a checkraiser will bet the turn for you close to 100% of the time, so why not get that extra sb or more if he has a worse K.
