Default Hey Humberto, nice slowroll

If true, this is horrid:

Humberto Brenes opponent goes all-in, and Humberto calls over the ESPN cameras before he acts on his hand. Brenes is using a mini shark-head as his card protector and pushes it over to his opponent's chip stack making a chomping noise. He says, "Humberto calls" and shows AheartAdiamond, his opponent holds QclubQheart. The flop comes Jspade6heart5diamond, keeping Brenes in the lead. The turn is the 5heart and the river brings the Kdiamond. The Aces hold up and Brenes eliminates another opponent. After the hand is over, Brenes looks at the ESPN camera guy and asks, "Do you know how to say shark in spanish?". The camera man says no and Brenes responds with, "Huuuuuuuuuumberrrrrrrrrtooooooooooo." Brenes now has $240,000.

At least he didn't sit silent and think until they called the clock on him, but what he did definitely isn't in the spirit of the game.

The guy with the Queens should have knocked him out and said Brody's line from Jaws: "Smile you son of a BITCH."

i saw him last week as he walked by moneymaker. not surprisingly they didnt exchange words.

im picturing his waging finger in the air just before he shows moneymaker his aces. and then moneymaker makes trips on the turn. not a fan of humberto's antics so that was just too sweet.

I stand corrected, my grammar was poor but that doesn't make my intent any less clear.

Tyler,

meh. If I see Humberto call the ESPN Cameras over, my QQ theoretically may as well be 22 at that point. I get my coat.

If Humberto asks for a count, thinks a while, etc, fine. Thats a slowroll. But if he's trying to get ESPN publicity, my QQ is crushed.

The horridness makes me think some part of the story is being reported wrong or not being reported.

reminds me of him shaking his finger at Moneymaker before calling him with aces back when Moneymaker won it (Moneymaker then spiked an 8 to make a set IIRC)

Totally just an impression, but Humberto strikes me as one of those guys who can come off as an [censored] with stuff like that (possibly with good reason) but whom is liked by anyone who knows him at all. Just an impression.
