N00bs and rubes, NL is a game where we can be playing for stacks on any given hand. You should find within this thread various methods of getting your stack in the middle. Open to all, post your awesomeness here. Enjoy!
Requirements for posting hands in this thread: 1. Hero believes he played the hand well. 2. HERO MUST WIN AT LEAST 80 bb's. 3. Post only converted hands and remember to post results. 4. It's also very nice of you if you can take the results out of white, so we don't have to highlight to see them. 5. If it's not obvious why you played the hand the way you did, give a quick reasoning. So, if you play a hand that qualifies over the weekend, post it here and share the joy. Weekend starts now and runs through Sunday night. I'll start with an example hand. I had to dig it up out of my archives because I've been on hiatus from cash games this past week. I do plan to play this weekend though, so hopefully I'll have some legit hands to post. The only thing I think I did well was to adjust to the play of these two villains. Both villains are overaggro, playing about 40/10 and going after a lot of pots. This one is pretty straightforward really. I think it was set up 4 hands earlier when I was BB and the entire table limped and I raised big (had AK) and everyone folded.
Range for villain is a big PP with the PF reraise, but villain misplayed this badly IMO. This is a great example of how not to play a big PP (not that many 2+2ers play them this way...).
