Default Compatibility with Poker Tracker: Good or Bad?

Hi all, I’ve used this site for a couple of years, mostly to improve my game. Now that I’ve started working in the business; I was hoping to get some feedback on a business issue from my poker-friends.

I’m working for an online poker-site, and our nettwork will shortly will be compatible with Poker Tracker . (I do not use poker tracker my self). Should we be careful in marketing such a product, due to shark & bot-hysteria? Are there segments that will see it as negative that we know have this option?

All your input will as always be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Paul

Not sure what network yo uare working on but if it is the one I play I will be VERY disappointed. The worst thing a site can do from a PLAYERS point of view is make yourself PT compatable.

YES - there are segments that will hate it. You will notice that your flop% will drom from the 45% areas in 5/10 and 50% in 1/2 to tighter games WHICH will decrease your rake.

You will also need to upgrade your email system with constant requests for hand histories.
