Villain is at seat 3 with $7049.
Hero is at seat 4 with $7948.
The button is at seat 4.

Hero posts the small blind of $50.
Villain posts the big blind of $100.

Villain: -- --
Hero: Kh Jh

Pre-flop:

Hero raises to $200. Villain re-raises to $600.
Hero calls.

Flop (board: 8h 4s Ks):

Villain bets $1200. Hero calls.

Turn (board: 8h 4s Ks 4d):

Villain checks. Hero checks.

River (board: 8h 4s Ks 4d 2s):

Villain checks. Hero bets $500. Villain
raises to $5100. Hero ???.

why did you bet 500 on the river if you werent HAPPY to call that raise?
come on dude, you did it to yourself so now go ahead and call him.
your opponents sn would prob help.

nigel,

I think that you are way off with the turn check behind. I'd also fire about 3000 on the river when checked to.

Also, in the future it would help if you gave a description of yourself and villian.

in that article thomas keller has KJ for top pair and after calling a flop bet, and then scott fischman checks raises the river with a set after the turn went check-check.

you should have known.

Like I said, this was probably the worst played hand I've had the honor of being behind for the last 3 months. It made me throw up a little bit in my mouth.
