camper tries to sabotage me
today, in one of the games i was leading a little kid ended up under a pile of other kids. the kid has asthma and had a minor asthma attack. everything settled down and he got his inhaler, water, and to hang out with his favorite counselor (me) on a bench (special privilidge) for the next 15 minutes. this camper is one of my favorite kids.
however, the "cool girl" campers, these three girls, two of whom are best friends from school and another who they met at camp and thus is kind of the third wheel, all of whom always come up and play with me but like to pretend they hate me (i'm not a fan of these girls at all, i mostly ignore them when they want to use me as a jungle gym) were going around saying "TEDDYS GOING TO GET FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!" didn't phase me, however at the end of the day the head counselor girl (maybe 20-25) came up to me and asked me what happened to the "asthma attack kid." i see the third wheel right behind her, so i'm 90% sure she was trying to get me in trouble. what's my move?--let me specify, i don't want to run to my boss and be like "ZOMG SHE IS TRYING TO GET ME FIRZ0RED!!!!!!!!" i'm trying to find a way to mess with the little kid. right now i'm thinking that disallowing her from playing on me is the right move, using her "ankle injury" (something that she complains about a lot) as an out. the only problem is that besides from this, she's one of the best behaved campers and i generally like her. also, the third wheel is the only one in my actual group, the other two are in the other group, but we do a lot of inter-group things. 3rd and 4th graders btw, ty dub
