Bachelor Party in AC next week, some help please
Bachelor party for a good buddy of mine in in AC on the 12th (next Saturday). The plan is to spend Friday night out in Philly and then head to A.C. for Saturday. Guys want a tournament to enter. From 78 suited it looks like I have three options (most of these guys are donks with not much money so I want to keep it 40>100):
Showboat 11am 40+10 Caesars 1pm 100+20 Hilton 2pm 40+10 How many people can I expect for each tourney, how are the structures, etc.? (I hear the Hilton tourney sucks ass) I'm sure half of the guys will be tired of gambling early in the night so where are some other alternatives if they try and drag my ass kicking and screaming away from the tables. Quality Bars etc. I thank you guys in advance. |

Re: Bachelor Party in AC next week, some help please
The Hilton $100 tournament on last Friday night had 19 people. Dunno about the structure, I was just there playing $1-2 cash games. Just one data point but maybe it's helpful.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Showboat tourneys. Their ring games are lacking, though. You can walk to the Taj if you want ring after the tourney.

~80 people at the Showboat 11 AM. 20 min blinds.
They had one only 1/2 ring going at the same time, so as your buddies get knocked out, you'll probably have to arrange to meet over at Taj or something. |

The dealers suck at the Showboat, although their tourney is pretty cool. I like the room though best seats of any Boardwalk poker room plus they have bottled beers.
