Default UB 50 Max NL Rake Question

Are there any 2plus2ers who regularly play the HU 50 Max tables at UB?? The reason I ask is that I played one for about 10 minutes and couldn't believe the rake that was being taken out. I was up 4 bucks but the opponent was down 8!!!!!!!!!

I once busted a guy, but it took too long.

me +$2, rake $23, him -$25.

The only way you can win with that rake structure is against very bad players.

Yeah that is exactly what I was thinking. Basically it isn't worth playing unfortunately because of the size of the rake.

$0.50 is the cap.

The killer though is any limped flop the rake is going to be $0.05, which adds up fast. When you are playing 3-400 hands / hour and the rake is only divided between two people it is too harsh (EVEN WITH BONUS + RAKEBACK).

Can you really get 300-400 hands an hour in? Im currently on a pokerroom skin and even with the turbo tables im getting just over 200 hands an hour...i cant imagine 300-400. At what point would you say they start to get beatable? Im thinking of moving part of my roll over there, that or to a prima skin.

I have played at PokerRoom too, it is turtlelike in comparison to UB.

The one bad thing about UB heads up games is that sometimes the hands go so fast, that GT+ and/or UltimateHistory cannot keep up and a bunch of the hands are lost.

Pokerroom is painfully slow, but have you set up a turbo table? That seems to help a lot, even at that though im still only getting 250 hands an hour MAX, I cant imagine much more then that. And loosing hands isnt a big issue as im so inept at computers to begin with i cant figure out how to get my pokerroom hands onto PT. Do you think that 100 games would be beatable? Im really looking to add another site in addition to pokerroom to my online play and it would have to beat either UB or Prima
