DANIEL LOOKS POISED TO TAKE IT ALL
Looks like this could be the year of Negreanu. Things seem to be really going his way and he appears really psyched to put up a good battle. It would not surprise me to see him in the thick of things for the rest of the tournament. He deserves this one.
It's time for a Professional and known player to take the tournament down. |

He has an excellent blog too. I really like it, it really gives you somewhat of a feel of what his daily life is like.

Why?
Along with about 1000 other players still in it. Why? Why? Why? |

Re: DANIEL LOOKS POISED TO TAKE IT ALL
Bad luck can certainly destroy even the best of players, but with the amount of chips he has acquired, he will be able to go out and play a strong game and take charge of the tables that he is at. He will be able to take a few hits and still be in this thing. He's still a longshot as everybody is with a field of about 1200, but his skills will take him far in this one.

I wish we had an archive from last year for all the posts like these.
OMG, XXXX has 0.5% of the chips in play, he's a MORTAL LOCK!!!!! |

[/ QUOTE ] While i dont think anyone is a lock, several of the pros who have accumulated chips have a strong chance of carrying on pretty deep into the tourney. There's only so much of an edge you can have in a tournament of this size, but chips are power and the best players know how to use them. That said, it's more of a race to FT than to actually have a chance at this point to win anything. There's still a lot of play. |

I really wish you could look back on last year's posts. Particularly the ones where Ivey was going to run away with the tourney. Or Raymer. There is NO ONE at this point in the tournament who has a REALLY STRONG chance to go deep in the tournament. Maybe Daniel has a 5-10% chance (and I say closer to 5%) to get to the final table. I would not call that a really strong chance. |

Re: DANIEL LOOKS POISED TO TAKE IT ALL
What would you estimate the odds of DN winning it all are right now?
