Harrington's cap on PPT

Why did they make Dan Harrington put patches over the Red Sox insignias on his baseball cap? I seem to remember that they did the same thing a couple of years ago in a WPT event.

It's part of the WPT/PPT's no logos on hats policy.

Seems ridiculous since Juanda and Rose are brandishing Full Tilt and Party Poker shirts.

I thought the whole point of the PPT was so that players could wear their sponsor's logos on TV, unlike the WPT.

Even then it doesn't make and sense. It's not like the Red Sox pay Dan Harrington to play poker.

Shirts are fine, hats aren't. Todd Phillips was wearing a Dale Earnhardt Jr. hat and that was covered up.

probably cause he plays there? maybe they give him some kind of endorsement deal to wear it, but i bet he probably just wears it cause he likes playing there.

I'm kinda surprised the sox don't require him to wear a sox hat. Especially when he gives interviews about the sox.

I've seen him wearing it several times, so I suspect that pokerstars pays him.

He does fit the fat white guy demographic that Stars likes so much.

I'm confused, why didnt they show eliminations 10-7? They didn't even mention how it went down(at least through the first 15 mins.) The whole concept of the thing is to show each step of the tournament, they show every elimination at least on screen at some time, but not the final 4 before final...?
