Default 3/6 full, blind steal situation

Party 3/6, 10 handed, Villian is 24/6/2.8 after 1400+ hands.
Preflop: folds around to SB who completes, Hero raises w/Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Villian calls.
Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villian bets, Hero calls.
Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villian checks, Hero checks.
River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Villian bets, Hero raises, Villian 3-bets, Hero calls.
Is this an easy river cap?

I would. I'd expect the 3-bet with a lower flush as well. Maybe even a straight he completed on the turn that he tried to slow play.

Easy, easy river cap. You're ahead WAY more often than 50% here.

I'm not a big fan of the preflop raise but it doesn't really matter...

There are a few ways to play the flop/turn but they all involve betting and raising - checking and calling is just bad.

I cap the river 100% of the time - villian will usually have a straight or two pair here.

Easy river cap. And I don't like the PF raise.

Add me to the "I'm not a big fan of the preflop raise here" camp.

Flop is fine.

When checked to on this turn in a blind battle, you've got 12 outs (maybe 15 with a Q) Bet it.

Cap the river - there's only 2 hands that beat you here, and a WHOLE lot of others that would still 3bet this river. A smaller flush, a straight, two pair, heck even top pair!

This is a blind battle! He could easily be 3betting light.

Blind situations always get me good. I wouldn't raise this preflop either. Had I not raised, I probably would have folded the flop. The flop call is bugging me the most though, as I don't really understand it. In the same situation, I would probably raise. Bad?

Easy cap on the river if you consider villians pf play of just calling. If he has Axs or Kxs he would almost always be raising pf even if he is only a 6. Or at least it is unlikely enough to make a cap profitable.

I probably wouldn't raise preflop either (sometimes against right opp, yes) but if I find myself in this spot I'm raising the flop, betting the turn and capping the river.

But I've been told I'm a chip spewing donk

I might check the turn after raising the flop. Depends on the weather mostly.
