NL 50 - Folding TPTK to flop checkraise
Villain just sat down and this is his first hand.

The flop was a little bizarre. The preflop 3-bet and then flop check makes me a little unsure of what to do. When he checkraises me I figure he has overcards so I fold. Is this good? Should I even bet the flop? |

Re: NL 50 - Folding TPTK to flop checkraise
I would normally check in that spot. If villain is behind on this board he has 6 or less outs (barring QT), and if he's ahead you have 5 outs or less. This seems to be a WA/WB situation, so I think a check is good. If villain checks twice I'll bet the turn. As played, villain definitely has an overpair/set, so I'm folding to his C/R. If he happens to have AK or trash here you'll surely find a time to stack him soon. |
