PS $2.5 mil Freeroll
This seems to be a fairly good proposition, however, I have played 5 or 6 of the 10 FFP sats in which play is TERRRRRIBLE. (Calling all ins with K7 etc.) IS there any other way to get in besides the 10 FPP to round 2 to round 3????

Re: PS $2.5 mil Freeroll
no. the problem is, regardless of how terrible the play is, it's very difficult to get through 9000+ players.

Re: PS $2.5 mil Freeroll
Which is why I'm asking if there is another way to get in.....or do i keep dumping 10 fpps at a time hoping to get lucky enough to make it to the top 1000 where i can actually play poker.

How did you play round 1?? Super TAG or what? I would love to play in this, but its really damn frusterating trying to get there.

Re: PS $2.5 mil Freeroll
My guess would be to treat it like a $3 rebuy until you have at least 6,000 in chips, if not more. Then switch to the TAG style.

Re: PS $2.5 mil Freeroll
I played one yesterday and made it through more than half the field of about 9k. I played hyper aggressive to start and built up my chipstack. Then I started to tighten up some more and just picked my spots. Got my stack up pretty good but took a few tough beats.
You really have to play to get a lot of chips and keep building to have a chance IMO. |

Re: PS $2.5 mil Freeroll
Just like others posted. I played very aggressive and got lucky when my KK held against 4 other players. After that I played TAG the rest of the way. It got much easier as the tournament went on.
