Caesars LV added as WSOP Circuit event.
Caesers is now a circuit event late april-May 11th.
http://www.pokerzone.co.uk/News/story_77308.shtml It is 12 events, all of which are NL holdem, except one limit event, a 1k+rebuy PLO, and a H.O.S.E event with a buy in of 5,000. Hopefully the H.O.S.E goes well - I have read conflicting reports about the missing R. |

Re: Caesars LV added as WSOP Circuit event.
There is a new Horseshoe Casino opening in March in Council Bluffs, Iowa and I had heard from a dealer that eventually they will host a circuit event (or WPT event?) in the future. Does anyone know if there is any validity to this? That would be awesome as I live in Omaha, NE and rarely get to play in big live events.

Re: Caesars LV added as WSOP Circuit event.
Wouldn't surprise me. Harrah's, Inc. is trying to tap the Midwest market.
The WSOPC event at Caesars outside Louisville was a clusterbomb, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were just up and moved there. But it's also nice to see areas other than Vegas, AC, California, and New Orleans/Mississippi host big poker tournaments. |

Last week's circuit event is going to be on TV and only had 241 entries. I used to play at Caesars Indiana when I lived in Ohio. That is a huge market for Harrah's to continue to offer up a circuit event to. I would be astonished if it went away. |
