ME Hand KQo UTG
Blinds 200/400/50
Hero has 12K villain covers- avg stack is 22K. Hero has just been moved to the table, its 75 minutes from the end of day 1. I have won two uncontested pots BTF in the last orbit. I was also relieved to have been moved to a table where the players with the chips were active, as well as the fact that I have been all-in 5 times at my previous table and my credibility was slightly damaged. Hero opens T1400 UTG w/ KQo Villain calls MP2 Flop (T3900) J66 rainbow Hero bets T2200, villain calls. Turn (T8300) J664 two spades Hero pushes for 8K?! |

Re: ME Hand KQo UTG
I check fold the flop here almost always. I think most of the value of cbetting this flop is that when called you can shove the turn and get a lot of 1 pair hands to fold...so I think the turn is fairly standard given the flop cbet.

Re: ME Hand KQo UTG
What range do you put villian on after he called your flop bet? You might get him to fold 77-TT/KQ+, but I think AJ,JJ-AA calls a PSB here. 8K is still a workable stack. I probably C-F here.
Also, you say villian covers - but by how much, barely or is he only calling off 25% of his stack? You might get a call from a middle PP if he has a good stack and if he perceives your bet as trying to push him out of the pot with a worse hand. |

Re: ME Hand KQo UTG
Villain has 20K, I don't expect him to fold a pair.

Re: ME Hand KQo UTG
Without reading the post, fold preflop. This is a trouble hand that does not play well from early position.

I might raise 86s here, but not KQo. |

Re: ME Hand KQo UTG
Both.
And I've watched too, I'm stealth like that. But mainly I'm just having fun, it was an easy joke to make. |
