Default River situation, AQ unimproved

Villain has Laggy stats: 32/18/2.2
I've seen him making some suspicious plays and had a very strong read that he was betting the flop w/ a marginal hand at best.

What I"d like to see is how others would play this river.....

Once he calls the turn, it's unlikely he's calling with anything that you beat on the river.

wow, third overcards today. Well at least we are in position on this one. Villain will probably not fold a better hand, so I check.

I like it as played and I check the river. i want to see what he had so I can see what hero got donked with.....maybe a busted flush or a weak marginal hand that he wasnt prepared to go nuts with.

if he stabs at pots with stupid hands, why would you raise and stop him from doing that?

This isn't wa/wb. We would actually like him to fold the turn.

If he won't fold the turn, then I agree this line sucks.

re: flop and turn

OP said he takes stabs but didnt say anything about how villian handles aggression. I like the flop raise and turn bet in an attempt to take the pot down now...I agree that a better read would help. Some lags who take stabs turn into totally pussies when faced with aggression, some can fold and others hang on for fear that you are trying to bluff a bluffer

This seems like a good flop for lag to bluff at... somewhat coordinated flop with all sorts of possible draws and not big overcards hitting our hero.

if you guys dont like the flop raise...whats your preferred line?
