Default Scrungy-ass top pair

Been around a while. BB is kinda weird, 28/6/2.09 who tends to be a bit overzealous in defending blinds but otherwise decent; he's been running pretty hot. Other guy is the table LAG.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)

Turn: (6.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG calls, MP folds, Hero...

So, what do you do with top pair sans kicker on a 3-flush board here?

fwiw this is like the hand beni sweat me with where I had a weak TP. You can check the flop and see what happens, usually raising if the last guy bets.

I think I check this flop and go from there.

Not betting out with top pair? Won't I get hit by a bus?

it's a pretty vulnerable top pair, if not already owned.

Check le flop (planning to CR a bet from late position). As you played it, I'd dump this on the turn.

Grunch:

Check-fold flop.

Flush draws are not going anywhere. Straight draws are not going anywhere. Our kicker isn't good enough.

I think we have to fold here. You have to give Villian credit for a better hand here. The b/c on the flop wasn't a bad play, but his bet on the turn leads me to believe that we are behind. Muck 'em.
