Tap Vs Brita.
I try to drink a gallon and a half, sometimes more, water per day. My brita water filter takes for ever to run that much water into my jug. I was going to go out and buy the jug brita filter (rather than the faucet tap, I have now), but is tap water that big of a deal? i dont really taste the difference, how much healthier is brita water?

Re: Tap Vs Brita.
If you don't mind the tase go for the tap. Unless you live in Hicktown, Nebraska your tap water should be fine. Even if you do live in Hicktown Nebraska your tap water is still probably clean enough to drink.

Re: Tap Vs Brita.
I prefer tap water out of the bathroom sink to everything else. For some reason it tastes better to me than tap water from the kitchen. Maybe it's the way it pours out. I dunno.

Count me in for bathroom over kitchen
If you have a Brita change the filter often. The charcoal may suck out taste and odor but stuff ends up growing in there and then going in the water. Better to go with a reverse osmosis unit in combo wth some filters. |

Re: Tap Vs Brita.
I don't know about Brita, but bottled water is one of the largest scam industries in recent memory, a total psychological trick on ppl with extra money to blow on the most common resource out there
