Default Played World of Warcraft Last Night (Dissapointed)

I decided to try it out since I keep hearing about it. I've never played an MMORPG or any RPG before. I kind of perusued through the manual quickly.

Anyways, I picked to be an undead rogue because they look cool and I wanted to stab people in the back. It starts out Im at my home bass and whatnot, and some guy tells me to go to the foot of the hill where I will receive a quest.

Now Im not sure where exactly the foot of the hill is (or whatever he described it as). Im walking through and I see all these other undeads then I realize they are all just computer people and Im the only real player. So Im like damnit.

I cant find this quest guy, so I decide to just leave our gates and go off into the wilderness and see if I can find some other players. Once outside the gates there is some kind of dog that starts attacking me, I try to run away but it is too quick so I have to fight.

I keep hitting the attack button but it is like parry and block, then Im thinking damn can I parry and block his attacks? Cause if so I dont know how. I wind up doing no damage to him and get killed.

Then I am like [censored] THIS GAY [censored] and closed and uninstalled the game. If that kind of experience is supposed to be better than real life I should just end it all!

Ditto. WTF, you don't read the manual, don't pay attention to the quests, go out into the areas too high for you and get killed, and blame the game?

And then blame it for, uh ... not being better than life? Holy crap.

Are you running bad at the SNG's lately or sosmething?

Um, no. Seriously, why did you think this was a good post idea? You are not the sort of person who can suspend disbelief enough to enjoy a MMRPG. And, um...wow, you didn't enjoy the MMRPG you tried.

ZOMG, TRIP REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skip,

Your post sucked big fat donkey balls. First off, no one cares about your 5-minute assessment of a video game because:

A) Your review is really bad.
B) You reviewed a video game in 5 minutes.

I mean, really, an MMORPG review where you didn't even really play it at all?

Next, you clearly did not read the instruction manual to this game because you have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Block? Parry? Yeah, why don't you try attacking the effing dog. No crap you're not doing any damage to it, you didn't even learn how to attack.

Anyway, thanks for wasting my time.

I was in Silvermoon for a few months. But my MMORPG burn-out came much earlier, in EQ. WoW was a colorful world, but bored me pretty quickly.

WoW has a small learning curve to keep out total morons - you failed the test.
