Default Fold or crying call

I have a hard time making myself fold in situations like this. How many of you guys fold and how many of you make a crying call?

Villian is one of the German players. He was on the borderline of a rock and a calling station. Very passive both preflop and post-flop.

The river card completed both a flush draw and a straight draw and then he raises me. I'm almost positive I am beat but I have a hard time folding when it is just one more bet to me. What would you guys do?

If he's passive, this is an easy fold.

Easy fold given your description of your opponent.

The answer lies in your read and potsize.

do I always fold in this spot? no because Im no poker superhero and therefore Im still prone to using the 'its only 1 bet' argument... and I usually regret it.

I guess I pretty much knew the answer. Passive non-tricky player and a small pot. This is a leak for me. On days I've been a little cold-decked, I tend to get pissed and just call anyway. I need to get more disciplined and patient.

I tend to check behind on the river since there is 4 to a straight and 3 to a flush with BB c\c the flop and turn. This is prolly a leak for me, but what else could he be drawing to?

He will often have a worse K or even a worse pair.

Fold. I'm actually wondering if this is a check behind. From your read it seems like the bet was ok though.
