Default Top 2 with nut flush draw

game 5-10nl
Hero (929$)
villain (1660$)

Me and villain know each other pretty well he doesn't often get out of line with me

Pre flop :I raise to 32$ on the button with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] sb calls bb folds

Flop

a [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
sb checks, i bet 45$ he calls,

Turn
Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

he checks, i bet 125$ he raises to 300$ and i push

what you think? should i of checked the turn behind him?

i would just call the turn since he's not folding a baby flush but he's prolly folding anything else, and you dont care what card comes on the river so you can still call a push if you think you have the best hand.

checking the turn is a good play at certain times. it's not like you're worried about a free card, they can only help you. checking is good vs. passive/trappy dudes so you can outdraw their flush.

betting turn is good vs an aggro guy who will come over the top to rep a flush, and vs calling station fish who will keep callllllling with any piece of the board.

so really it's up to you. there's no right play here.
