thinking of going pro, right or wrong thing to do
i need any help i can get on this cause i do feel ready that i can do this but everyone else i know says that im going to go broke when i start. but im starting out on a 1k bank roll. what level should i start out that i can make money decently, cause my buddy mike wants in on it to and people say that were both amzaning players, but I am told that I am the better player. but I am awsome at cash games, pretty great in tournments, I always get my money back at least. Make pretty good reads, an ok online player. but I am only 18 and im just taking a 2 year break off from everythiong cause I had to go through some rough [censored] from 16 to now. but I do feel i can do this, mike is great but he bluffs a lot and playes really loose but he does win consintently and i am helping him learn to a lot. but I can play like 5 hr a day and just wondering if theres anyother pro that can help me out and some online pros that can help me to and even with books. Mike and I have plenty of experance. I have played over 700k hands and have won 27 out of 50 tournys i have been in. and I nearly know everyplay known to man in poker. but should I or should I just wait. Im going to give myself 3 strikes, i go broke three times im done, but I at least followed my dream. And again should I start out with a bigger bank roll or should I just wait.

but im starting out on a 1k bank roll. what level should i start out that i can make money decently [/ QUOTE ] The answer is none. This bankroll will be enough for 1/2. Why don't you start out with a higher bankroll? You said you have played over 700,000 hands and won money so why not use it? And if you played those 700,000 hands and didn't make an assload of money, I wouldn't recommend going "pro". Also, bluff more like mike! Haupt_234 |

I think you should go pro A.S.A.P. Start off at the 15-30 limit and let me know what table you are playing! GL

Youve won all these tourneys and played over 700,000 hands and only have 1K to show for it?? I hope to God you dont go pro cuz you will regret it.

I think you should post this/seek advice in the small stakes forum...build up your roll and practice good bankroll management.
