Default Sweet ass songs from the 80\'s

I was playing some GTA Vice City and I realized the 80's had some pretty sweet ass music.

I was still a little toddler in the 80's but the songs I've heard and loved are as follows:

Foreigner - Waiting for a Girl Like You
John Waite - Missing You
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean (still gets played at clubs all the time)
Grandmaster Flash - The Message

The Joe Jackson song in Vice City is so, so awesome.

I think the best 80s song ever is Split Endz "I Got You". I actually rank that pretty high as far as all time songs go. Just an amazing pop tune.

Trying not to throw out the obvious ...

Y&T -- Summertime Girls (since it's summer)
ABC -- Look of Love
Anything by Asia
Thomas Dolby -- I Scare Myself
Frankie Goes to Hollywood -- Power of Love (at least not obvious in the US)
Fairground Attraction -- Perfect
Icicle Works -- Whisper to a Scream
Nik Kershaw -- Wouldn't It Be Good
Marillion -- Kayleigh (again non-US-obvious)
Monroes -- What Do All the People Know

and ... of course ... The Rain by Oran Juice Jones

Hey niss,

Whisper to a Scream - Is that the same as the Elvis Costello tune?

"I Got You" is one of the all time greats! Great beat to it.

Though "Billie Jean" would have to come close to being the ultimate 80's song
