Default Backers

How do typical backing type deals work?

I've got a proposal for someone wanting to back me for 2/4 again so I can get back into the bigger games, but I feel he might be making too much money off of me.

If you were to accept a deal where someone would back you, how would you approach it and what sort of terms would you be looking for?

This might be the wrong forum. Not sure where to post. But I like the atmosphere here.

I'll back you, but you have to put out.

Oh and if anyone else is interested in working out a backing deal, PM me your terms. My other offer still stands but if any of you high rollers wanted to make easy cash AND CAN OFFER me a better deal, let me know. I can provide a PT db of 80k hands, etc, etc, etc, if necessary.

the tilt insurance policy is a given. Backer has access to my PT db at all times as well.

This thread was actually meant to question what sort of terms you would accept if you were going to be backed? (profit%, etc)

I'd want cash up front, and I'd pay back 100% in Party play chips.

Personally I can't imagine ever backing someone. If they're good, why don't they just back themselves? The only people who need backing are people like Mike Matusow.
