PP $400 NL hand/ TPTK problems
PP $400 NL 6 handed.
Hero UTG w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero Raises to $12... button calls, villian (sb) calls, BB calls. Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Pot @$36. Villian in SB bets out $24. No read , seems relatively tight and controlled player.....has just under $700, so won a few pots. Hero Raises to $56. Villian make it $150 to go. Set? Flush draw? who likes folding here......thoughts...... |

Do you have villian covered? That makes a huge difference between a push or folding.
And please raise the flop more. |

No....villian has me covered. And $12 is 3xBB.....seems pretty standard to me....or in the least not TOO small.

Is he trying to say that my "smallish" flop raise was read by villian as a weak attempt to feign a monster hand with like AK or AQ. should I be raising this flop to like 80 or 100? The only hands I'm worried about are 44 or 55......if he had JJ-AA I would have thought he'd reraise, being out of position and all(although stupider(lol) things have been done). I'm also not that thrilled about gambling my whole stack against his flush draw, which I think was another strong possibility. aw crap.....I thought this was a good fold at the time, but now I think I got pwned. |

Re: PP $400 NL hand/ TPTK problems
As played I think you have to fold. You're too deep, and he can bluff too many cards on the turn that may or may not improve his hand.
But you need to make it closer to 80 on the flop, he could've easily interperted your min-raise as a mediocre hand and 3-bet a flush draw. |
