Default Highest Job salary/ education ratio

I'm talking about regular jobs. Not being a presedent of some company, or playing highstakes poker. Regular jobs that the average Joe has.

(average $ made from job/year) devided by (average education requiered for the job)

any grad school education, or education that requiers 4+ years of college is to be omitted. 4 years of college max.

cambraceres makes a good point, danger is a huge factor in the salary of any given job.

As for the original question, I know sprinkler system installers who get paid over +$60,000 a year with basically no education. Hell, I luckboxed my way into a job painted for those guys when I was in highschool - they tried to pay me $9/hour but the painters union got upset so they had to pay me the same rate as the union guys. Turns out union painters make $24 an hour.

I did cripple my brain being surrounded by paint all summer though. Meh.

Hmm, probably up there if a Bachelor's Degree is the minimum.

I guess you could be a dick and say Sociology degrees from UNC, since Michael Jordan has a Sociology degree. You probably want to use "median" instead of "mean".

I watched a special on disc/pbs/geo on these deep sea welders, basically no schooling other, and they get paid to go a million feet or so below water and weld, they get paid TONS of money, to go down a pipe and do a simple job, but the risk of death is ginormous.

Personal trainers? Here you only need a few months training.

Miners can get paid pretty well. They can pull in 6 figs here.

air traffic controller. requires no education and starts at like 70k+

no idea how hard it is to get into though cause they're easily one of the most unionized professions (like right behind the teamsters)

Seems like it could be a stressful job. But then Pushing Tin was only a movie.
