Default Haircut tipping question

For a standard $10-15 men's haircut, do you tip the lady who washes your hair? Also, how much do you tip the barber?

A standard 10-15$ men's haircut does not include a hair washing.

What place is this? The person cutting my hair has always been the person washing it. Also, $10-$15 doesn't get you a wash.

I tip my barber $4 on a $17 haircut at school because she's awesome and when I started out, it was a $4 tip on $16 for an even $20, and I didn't want to cheat her when the price went up the next year. My dad does not tip our barber at home but he gives him $50 or whatever at Xmas.

I get my hair cut at Hair Cuttery. 13 bucks gets you a cut and a wash, all done by the same person. I used to tip $2, but I've started tipping $3 recently.

What you should do is just ask if they share tips. Whatever the answer, you should tip enough to cover both of them. I'd tip $5.

Juut salon - haircuts are $45 - I tip $9 because at that point it's on my credit card. I went once just to see what it was all about, if I could stop going, I would - paying $54 for a haircut is ridiculous.

At school my haircut is $15 and I tip $5 for an even twenty when I pay cash, although I usually use a CC. I'm a pretty good tipper in general, plus I'd feel like an idiot asking for $1 change. Plus the girls that work there are hot and they do a good job.

At home it's Supercuts which I think is $12 and I tip $3 or $4. Although I will tip more if they do a good job.

Edit: I never get a wash so I don't worry about that.
